Garth Brooks lumbered slowly onto stage like a large reptile, more than 75,000 fans were jubilant. The country superstar was in the right environment, The Swamp at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, FL. It was the first concert that UF’s football stadium has hosted since 1994 when the Rolling Stones performed its Voodoo Lounge tour.

The many year’s hiatus of concerts on the field was attributed to administrators concern of the sports playing surface. Quality Event Flooring Systems has proved that with the usage of the I-Trac temporary flooring field cover, the sports surface will be protected without any damage or degradation.

Garth Brooks sung his best hits to the Gator Nation and in “low places” while they were enjoying the music the I-Trac surface protection matting was supporting all.

The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour was 35 years in the making for the country superstar. Quality Event Flooring Systems took center stage in preparing the Autzen Stadium in Eugene, OR for the mega event. Protecting the sensitive sports turf playing surface with the football season approaching was ensured with the deployment of the I-Trac portable field cover. A total of 87,000 sq. ft. was installed in approx. 8 hours. The country crooner wowed the crowd of over 60,000 to his best lifetime hits. The concert stadium show was a huge success and the field was protected perfectly in allowing the Oregon Ducks football team to finish the season with a BCS ranking of 6th place. A job well done by all!

FOX News Channel, the parent company of Fox Sports, understood that fumbling during the biggest game of the year was not an option. Therefore, they drafted Quality Event Flooring Systems (QEFS) to handle the ground protection matting for Super Bowl LIV.

QEFS installed over 110,000 sq. ft. of I-Trac matting on Ocean Drive in Miami near the Clevelander Hotel for FOX News & Sport’s production studios. The QEFS team worked diligently and safely in the congested South Beach area to ensure the project and all personnel were performing at their best.

QEFS embellished the matting installation with custom logos, turf and carpet finishes to enhance the visual broadcast experience which 103 million viewers witnessed.

It was evident to the client that the QEFS team had practice its drills which eliminated any onsite turnovers. The client was extremely impressed how all aspects of the project was managed by QEFS. Congratulation to the Kansas City Chiefs for the Super Bowl victory.

One of the most interesting and challenging projects was entrusted to Quality Event Flooring Systems (QEFS). Situated in the wilds of West Virginia, The Summit Bechtel Reserve is a training, Scouting and adventure center for millions of youth and adults involved in the Boy Scouts of America and anyone who loves the outdoors. The Summit is a world-class, sustainable jamboree site with more than 14,000 acres of beautiful forested mountains adjacent of more than 70,000 acres of national park in the scenic New River Gorge area of West Virginia. The 24th World Scout Jamboree was an educational event of over 47,000 diverse international scouts learning about sustainability initiatives, socialization elements, and development of leadership skills.

QEFS was contracted to install over 245,000 sq. ft. of I-Trac matting, 45,000 sq. ft. of raised scaffold flooring and 337 tent structures totaling 480,000 sq. ft. for the Jamboree. QEFS’s personnel have the skillset, industry experience and knowledge to coordinate all tasks required for this extensive build.

The QEFS team designed, planned and managed the installation of ground protection matting and tent erection. Advanced planning, logistics, asset allocation, inventory management, project coordination and management were all conducted in an exemplary manner by the QEFS team in keeping the project on schedule during difficult weather patterns that were present.

The enormity of the task is hard to describe in managing a project of this size on such a remote and isolated expansive site. QEFS certainly earned their Activity badge, Merit badge and any other accolades for its dedication and performance on this project.
