Live Nation had 2 distinct flooring challenges with The Eagles & Jimmy Buffet in Florida. In Orlando, Camping World Stadium’s artificial turf demanded a flat-back product that would protect the field while giving the production team maximum access and mobility. In Miami, the combination of natural grass and planned events immediately following the concert meant that the field needed to look the best it could – even after being driven and walked on in Florida’s rainy / hot conditions. Quality Event Flooring rose to the occasion with our industry-leading I-Trac and Supa-Trac drivable flooring.

Florida is famous for sunny 80+ degrees with torrential downpours – happening within the same hour. Covering entire fields while dealing with changing conditions takes experience, and QEFS’s team of professionals was up to the challenge. QEFS laid down over 100,000 sq.ft. in each venue, working closely with the production, staging suppliers, and stadium management to make sure everyone’s needs were met in the most timely fashion possible.

When Solomon Group was tasked with producing concerts and other festivities in historic Centennial Park in downtown Atlanta, they required a temporary flooring product that could handle heavy vehicle traffic while protecting the pavement and lawn areas during the extended project timeframe. Atlanta’s winter weather can be quite varying from freezing temps with sleet and ice to hot and sunny within a day or so. Therefore, whatever flooring was laid down had to perform in extreme circumstances, which made QEFS’s I-Trac Drivable Flooring the perfect choice.

QEFS laid down over 40,000 sq.ft. in wintery conditions to support a PGP stage featuring 4 days and nights of concerts and events. This was the perfect application for I-Trac, as its unique form-factor and connection system prevents expansion and bubbling problems common to other types of plastic flooring typically deployed. I-Trac’s geometric shape offered a benefit in allowing the entire assembly to follow the contour of the rolling terrain/slope of the park surface with no issues.

Quality Event Flooring Systems provides pathways and flooring for the US Department of Energy’s collegiate solar-powered house building competition.

11 teams from universities all over the world gathered in Denver Colorado to build solar-powered, full-sized homes, competing in categories such as Architecture, Market Potential and Innovation. This early October event was held in variable weather conditions, including the first snow of the year, and Quality Event Flooring Systems provided over 60,000 sqft of Supa-Trac flooring for the job. Diamond Rental of Salt Lake City, Utah contracted the material to keep the site safe and clean. Used for their central pad, walkways and under tents, the product performed admirably, creating a surface that was safe and easy for everyone to work on.

QEFS’s product not only helped keep things safe, but maintained an excellent visual presentation for this high-profile event. Supa-Trac’s ease of installation and transport ensured a quick and economical solution, saving costs and difficulty in all aspects of installation and operations. The material proved itself during the inclement weather, preventing the site from becoming a muddy disaster.

Music Midtown & Quality Event Flooring Systems sees record-breaking crowds for 2017.

Music Midtown rocked Atlanta’s Piedmont Park last month, breaking records with over 78,000 attendees on Saturday of the 2-day event. The weekend featured genre-spanning performances by world-class artists including Bruno Mars, Mumford & Sons, Future, Blink-182 and many more. Quality Event Flooring Systems set their own record, installing over 373,000 sqft of flooring, protecting the historic mid-city park while helping create a safe and enjoyable environment for the fans.

QEFS’s diverse range of products helped producers Live Nation and C3 Entertainment control costs due to the effectiveness of their flooring. Translucent I-Trac ’s unique design prevented buckling under the “Hot-Lanta” sun, while Supa-Trac helped protect sensitive turf in pedestrian areas and Q-Lite access mats provided a quick and economical solution for equipment moves. In addition, QEFS provided a 10,000 sq.ft. tiered raised wood flooring VIP viewing platform and custom carpentry work to protect water lines and managed a variety of potential trip hazards.

After spending two weeks managing an aggressive outdoor installation and teardown schedule, QEFS’s senior site manager Mike McKee said “It was great to work again with David Helberg of Live Nation and the entire C3 team on this years event, it couldn’t have gone smoother despite Hurricane Irma related weather during the install.”
