One of the most interesting stadium transformations is happening again in 2020 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. After a successful inaugural season in 2019, the Miami Open will again host the biggest names in international tennis on a uniquely configured arena. Quality Event Flooring Systems (QEFS) has been instrumental in converting the 70,000 seat NFL football stadium into a cozier Stadium Court structure to welcome 13,800 spectators.

Immediately after Super Bowl LIV clocked zero, construction began to build the Stadium Court. QEFS installed 84,000 sq. ft. of I-Trac matting to protect the sub-grade and sub-surface infrastructure of the stadium from damage due to the extreme weights of the scaffolding / bleacher structure.

I-Trac with its unique shape and interlocking features provide the strongest assembly available that transfers loads laterally thus reducing the pressure on the stadium surface. The stadium superintendents recognize no other product can match this performance.

The Miami Open is one of the largest tournaments outside of the four Grand Slam events, however it takes place in the largest venue of any tennis event. The biggest stars in the ATP and WTA will be in South Beach serving on top of stadium cover installed by QEFS.

Music City hosts the annual New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville, TN. This unique event and location was paired with a unique company and products to ensure 2020 would arrive without any surprises; Quality Event Flooring Systems (QEFS) was entrusted with all ground support matting for the event.

When the lineup for the event includes Keith Urban, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit and others, having a solid, uniform and stable floor throughout the extended installation is critical.

QEFS installed over 147,000 sq. ft. of I-Trac during 2 days of intense rain, but the saying, “the show must go on” is an understatement. Our team assembled the stadium floor and field cover and utilized floor cleaning machines to keep the surface, show ready for entertainers and party goers.

2020 was welcomed by 200,000 plus with 6 hours of bourbon, blues, fanfare, fireworks and the signature midnight Music Note Drop®. Happy New Year’s to all!

QEFS extracted all of the gear in record time allowing the city to operate normally in the new decade. The city managers, event planners and promoters were all impressed with the professionalism and passion from the entire QEFS team, we know how to perform when the stage needs to be set!

Quality Event Flooring has been on ground in Southeastern United States providing groundcover & temporary flooring solutions to help Hurricane Michael restoration efforts. Coordinating with disaster relief and infrastructure partners, we are ensuring tents and other temporary structures have clean & safe work environments, in managing mud, dust and dirt. This is just the latest hurricane-relief project from the continent’s largest supplier of temporary flooring. Our fast-moving, flexible and innovative skills demanded by the Entertainment Industry is utilized to implement solutions for those in times of need.

Planning for this year’s hurricane season started well before the storms impacted the shore. Our Ocala, FL facility along with our Beaumont, TX headquarters ensured products were positioned in the ready zone. As the North American concert & festival season wound-down, care was taken to relocate stock to these areas in anticipation of their need. Additionally, QEFS established full-time customer support staff based in Florida for quick response prior to the hurricane season. This preparation meant resources were being mobilized and teams were ready to move before storms were named.

EFS’s parent company Quality Mat Company has 46 years plus of providing products to help turn swamps and other areas of difficult access into useable worksites. Our key staff experience and knowledge in relief projects globally. Team members have been involved in major events such as the Haitian Earthquake and Gulf War. We are ready to go at a moment’s notice to help when the need arises. Disaster Relief work hit very close to home for Quality Mat Company, literally at their doorstep. In 2017, Hurricane Harvey caused extensive flooding in Beaumont, TX, impacting the Company Headquarters and requiring some staff to be evacuated but we continued to operate in supporting those in need.

QEFS continues to grow its capabilities to help with disaster relief wherever the need arises, we are expanding our footprint with depots in Seattle, Los Angeles and the Midwest. For 2018, additional drivable floor as well as new, fast-deploying temporary roadway solutions are being laid around the country to ensure that whenever the need arises, access is granted.

Beyoncé and Jay Z’s “On The Run II” tour needed quick installation and removal of the turf protection due to the timing of the concerts near the start of football season. The build, considered one of the most difficult in the industry, called for a company that could provide excellent products and services for this high profile mega-show.
