The largest generator of travel to the U.S., IPW 2017 hosted its annual conference in Washington DC and cumulated 3-days of seminars, learning and buying with a concert on the National Mall. The challenge was providing a National Park Service approved turf protection system for the stage and concert goers.

Quality Event Flooring Systems (QEFS) was contracted by Hello! Washington D.C. to provide over 105,000 sq. ft. of drivable and non-drivable turf protection flooring for the event. All parties were impressed with the level of protection offered by the QEFS products; resulting in a successful event.

The WWE in collaboration with its subsidiary company, Event Services, Inc., contacted Quality Event Flooring Systems (QEFS) to provide a field protection cover for its premier event WrestleMania 33. This pay-per-view event, viewed worldwide, was staged at Camping World Stadium in downtown Orlando, Florida. QEFS provided a brand new stadium cover to protect the turf and provide a uniform stable surface for pedestrians and heavy equipment. QEFS installed over 84,000 sq. ft. of flooring within a strict timeframe meeting the client’s demands. Head of Operations, for WWE was amazed at the strength of the floor to handle the extreme loads of the cranes and heavy equipment while providing a safe, non-tripping surface for event goers. Camping World Stadium manager was impressed with the clean aesthetic look of the flooring and its performance. The fact that the mats didn’t experience issues typically noticed with other stadium covers in the industry such as; expansion issues, curling in corners due to wear and breakage with toe catches for tripping is exactly why he would specify QEFS to protect his field during events in the future. QEFS appreciated the opportunity to work with a professional organization on all levels which resulted in a successful event. Google required a temporary raised wood floor for an important corporate event in downtown San Francisco, CA. They contacted the flooring experts at Quality Event Flooring Systems (QEFS) through Diamond Rentals. QEFS installed 20,000 sq. ft. of raised wood plywood flooring fronting the historic Bill Graham Civic Auditorium which was built in 1915 as part of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. The project had a very strict installation and removal timeframe and was constrained with varying surfaces, access restrictions, and logistic challenges due to the congested downtown traffic and inclement weather. Fox had a unique challenge in re-locating their live studio over a parking garage in the crowded Houston downtown at Discovery Green Park. Working with Fox/Party Planners West, their promoter, and park management, Quality Event Flooring System provided 45,000 sq ft of I-Trac covering the natural turf roof deck. We first laid a liner to assist with the typical winter downpour patterns of South Texas, then installed the I-Trac matting to create a solid interlocked surface for equipment and erection of the various studious. A strict compressed install time frame of 10 hours was met, during the time a 4’ rain occurred. A 120,000 lb crane and forklift traffic traversed over the flooring to assist in the install and the matting provided an excellent base of operations. The television studios were assembled and finished with custom carpets and logos provided and professionally installed by Quality Event Flooring System. The studios and supporting equipment were removed and the flooring was taken up in 8 hours. The park was cleared and returned to the city without any issues due to the interlocking features and strength of the I-Trac which provided a solid, safe and uniform surface for the duration of the project which experienced several significant rain storms. Being the first in and last out is typical in the event flooring industry; so Quality Event Flooring System remained on-site to ensure the project’s success. The promoter and park management were as excited in the quality and performance of the flooring system utilized as the SuperBowl itself, and we can all agree that was a game for the ages!
